Charities / Local Sponsorships

Midstate is proud to have been able to participate in a wide range of activities that have helped make Central Vermont the unique location that our dealership and it's employees call home.

Hyundai is proud to partner with the Boston Marathon® Jimmy
Fund Walk for another great year! Since 2003, Hyundai has
demonstrated strong corporate citizenship and commitment
to philanthropy by serving as the Walk's presenting sponsor.
Hyundai has contributed nearly $2.2 million over the past eight
years through sponsorships, fundraising, and dealer cont-
ributions to the Walk.  Jessica Campbell, our Sales Manager,
here at Midstate Hyundai has participated several times since
we joined the Hyundai family of dealerships in 2000.  It is a great
event.  Each year Jessica has put together a team that consists
of employees here at Midstate, as well as customer's and
associates that join her for the 26.2 mile walk.  They have raised
thousands of dollars for Team Midstate to contribute to the
Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.  If you would like to
participate in this years walk, contact Jessica by phone or drop
her an e-mail by going to our
"Meet the Team" page.  If you
would like to help Team Midstate raise funds for the Jimmy
Fund Walk, you can make a
contribution by following this link.

7 am  - Jessica and Amy are fired up to start the 26.2 miles.

2009 Walk - 21 mile mark and Team Midstate is still going strong.
Over the past few years the Mountaineers have melded
talent, desire and leadership into a major force in the north
east. The Mountaineers got to the NECBL playoffs in their
second year capturing the 2005 Northern Division
Championship in their third year.  They didn't stop there,
they went on to capture the championship again and again.

The team here at Midstate was proud to have been one of the
teams inaugural sponsors during their first season.  Early on
when donations were being raised to start the team, no one
was sure the idea was going to take flight, but it was an
exciting concept.  The team had to potential to grow and
become part of the community, providing another outlet for
family entertainment in Central Vermont.  Boy did it take off!
Our three year commitment for  the Mountaineers, together
with the dozens of other sponsors and individuals who
participated that first year were rewarded with a team that
everyone would be proud of.  Just one trip to the ball park to
see the smiles on the faces of the young fans and you
realized why you signed on to help bring NECBL games to
Central Vermont.

Our Schools - Our Future

We have been proud to work with several of the area career centers to help students explore career options in the automotive field.  Not only do we host classes for career days, but student's have been able to work on a co-op basis, gaining proficiency in their trade by working side by side with one of our employees.  Career days, shadowing our employees, co-op opportunities, yearbook sponsorships, donations for raffles or training student drivers, we continue to look for ways to work with our local schools.

 Wheels for Warmth

This year was the 5th Annual Wheels for Warmth aid program for Central Vermont residents on fixed incomes and with
limited resources for home heating fuel. This program, created by Senator Phil Scott, has generated over $67,000 its first
four years, and continues to grow.

All proceeds from this unique program go to the fuel assistance program. With heating costs expected to double many of
our neighbors, including young families and seniors, face real health, safety, and financial survival concerns this winter.
They truly need our help.

Our trucks were loaded up and delivered over 100 tires to this years
Wheels For Warmth program.
If you have good used tires that no longer fit your vehicle, please consider
donating them to next years Wheels for Warmth Program.  It really does
help out local friends and neighbors.
